LUGANSK, December 3. /TASS/. The settlement of Nadiya in the Lugansk People’s Republic can now be called a "grey zone," meaning it is open for the taking, amid the pullout of Ukrainian troops from the area, military expert Andrey Marochko told the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station.

"According to the information I have, the settlement of Nadiya has now become a so-called grey zone. Ukrainian militants are trying to withdraw their troops and weapons from there because the area has been surrounded from the west and the east. The group is now facing the risk of being trapped in a kill zone," he noted.

Marochko added that the Ukrainian army was fighting with all its might to beat back Russian forces near the settlement of Belogorovka, hoping to prevent them from making gains and increasing Russia’s pressure on the northern section of the frontline.
