MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russian troops liberated four communities in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Kharkov Region over the week of November 23-29 in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Friday.

"Battlegroup West units liberated the settlement of Kopanki in the Kharkov Region as a result of active operations… Battlegroup Center units liberated the settlements of Novaya Ilyinka and Vorovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic in decisive operations… Battlegroup East units liberated the settlement of Razdolnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of active operations," the ministry said in a statement.

Russian forces delivered one massive and 32 combined strikes by air-launched, seaborne and ground-based precision weapons, hitting Ukrainian military airfields and power facilities of defense enterprises over the past week, the ministry reported.

"On November 23-29, the Russian Armed Forces delivered one massive and 32 combined strikes by air-launched, seaborne and ground-based precision weapons and attack unmanned aerial vehicles on power facilities supporting the operation of Ukraine’s military-industrial sector, industrial enterprises producing strategic military products, infrastructure of military airfields, assembly and storage sites of unmanned aerial vehicles and waterborne drones, weapons arsenals, ammunition depots, deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations, foreign instructors, technical specialists and mercenaries," the ministry said.

In addition, the strikes destroyed two launchers with experimental Grom-2 ballistic missiles, and also a launcher and a transporter-loader vehicle of the Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missile system, it specified.

All the goals of the high-precision strikes were achieved, it stressed.

Kiev loses 12,620 troops in all frontline areas over week

The Ukrainian military lost roughly 12,620 troops in battles with Russian forces in all the frontline areas over the week of November 23-29, according to the latest data on the special military operation in Ukraine released by Russia’s Defense Ministry.

The latest data shows that the Ukrainian army suffered roughly 2,420 casualties from Russia’s Battlegroup North, over 3,150 casualties from the Battlegroup West, more than 2,790 casualties from the Battlegroup South, more than 2,910 casualties from the Battlegroup Center, 960 casualties from the Battlegroup East and 390 casualties from the Battlegroup Dnepr, with total losses amounting to 12,620 troops over the week.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicts 2,420 casualties on Ukrainian army over week

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 2,420 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed 32 enemy armored vehicles in its area of responsibility in the Kursk area and the Kharkov Region over the week, the ministry reported.

"During the week, Battlegroup North units continued destroying Ukrainian armed formations on the territory of the Kursk Region. Combat aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles and artillery struck manpower and equipment of two armored, five mechanized and two air assault brigades of the Ukrainian army, a marine infantry brigade and four territorial defense brigades," the ministry said.

In the Kharkov frontline area, the Battlegroup North inflicted losses on units of a mechanized brigade, a motorized infantry brigade and two air assault brigades of the Ukrainian army, a territorial defense brigade and a border guard detachment of Ukraine’s Border Guard Service, it said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in those frontline areas over the past week amounted to 2,420 personnel, 10 tanks, 32 armored combat vehicles, including a US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, two Marder armored fighting vehicles and a Fuchs armored personnel carrier of German manufacture, 105 motor vehicles, three US-made HIMARS and two US-made MLRS multiple rocket launchers and 20 field artillery guns, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicts over 3,150 casualties on Ukrainian army in week

Russia’s Battlegroup West repelled 28 Ukrainian counterattacks and inflicted more than 3,150 casualties on Ukrainian troops in its area of responsibility over the past week, the ministry reported.

Over the week, Battlegroup West units "inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of five mechanized brigades and an airborne brigade of the Ukrainian army, a marine infantry brigade, two territorial defense brigades and a National Guard brigade. They repelled 28 counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past week totaled more than 3,150 personnel, two tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, including three US-made M113 armored personnel carriers, 28 motor vehicles and 18 field artillery guns, among them six NATO-produced 155mm howitzers, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed 10 electronic warfare stations and 21 field ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army over the week, the ministry said.

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicts over 2,790 casualties on Ukrainian army in week

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted more than 2,790 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed eight enemy ammunition depots in its area of responsibility over the past week, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup South units gained more advantageous lines and positions and inflicted casualties on formations of four mechanized brigades, a motorized infantry brigade, a mountain assault brigade, two airmobile brigades and an air assault brigade of the Ukrainian army, a marine infantry brigade and a territorial defense brigade. They repulsed eight counterattacks by Ukrainian army units," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past week amounted to more than 2,790 personnel, five armored combat vehicles, 19 motor vehicles and 10 field artillery guns, including eight Western-made weapons, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed eight field ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army over the week, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted more than 2,910 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy tanks and seven armored vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past week, the ministry reported.

Over the past week, Battlegroup Center units "inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of seven mechanized brigades, an infantry brigade and two jaeger brigades of the Ukrainian army, a marine infantry brigade, three territorial defense brigades and a National Guard brigade. They repelled 53 enemy counterattacks," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past week amounted to more than 2,910 personnel, two tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 31 motor vehicles and 27 field artillery guns, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted roughly 960 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two German-made Leopard tanks in its area of responsibility over the past week, the ministry reported.

Over the past week, Battlegroup East units "inflicted casualties on two mechanized brigades, a mountain assault brigade and an artillery brigade of the Ukrainian army and six territorial defense brigades. They repelled eight counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past week amounted to 960 personnel, six tanks, including two German-made Leopard tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 25 motor vehicles and 14 field artillery guns, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicts 390 casualties on Ukrainian army over week

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted roughly 390 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed three US-made howitzers in its area of responsibility over the past week, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of two mechanized brigades and an infantry brigade of the Ukrainian army, four territorial defense brigades and a National Guard brigade," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past week amounted to 390 personnel, 23 motor vehicles and five field artillery guns, including three US-made 155mm M777 howitzers, it specified.

Russian forces capture 34 Ukrainian servicemen over week

Russian forces captured 34 Ukrainian soldiers as prisoners-of-war over the past week, the ministry reported.

"During the week, 34 Ukrainian servicemen were taken as captives at the engagement line, including 17 soldiers who surrendered in the Kursk frontline area," the ministry said.

Russian air defenses destroy 353 Ukrainian UAVs, Neptune missile over week

Russian air defense forces shot down 353 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and a Neptune long-range missile over the past week, the ministry reported.

"Air defense capabilities shot down a Neptune long-range missile, 10 US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, 15 French-made Hammer and US-made JDAM guided aerial bombs, two rockets of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 353 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 649 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 36,913 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 surface-to-air missile systems, 19,562 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,497 multiple rocket launchers, 18,708 field artillery guns and mortars and 28,868 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
