MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The deployment of a peacekeeping contingent is possible only with the consent of all parties to the conflict in Ukraine, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

"The deployment of peacekeepers is possible only with the consent of the parties to a conflict," Peskov told journalists commenting on the information provided by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service about Western plans to allegedly occupy Ukraine under the guise of sending peacekeepers.

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said in a statement earlier in the day that the West may seek to achieve its objectives in Ukraine by implementing an actual occupation, deploying a so-called peacekeeping contingent of 100,000 personnel, with plans to divide the country among Romania, Poland, Germany, and the UK.

"To achieve these goals, the West will need to occupy Ukraine," according to the SVR statement. "This will, of course, be done under the pretext of deploying a 'peacekeeping contingent.'"

"The territories set to be distributed among the occupying countries have been outlined as follows: Romania will take the Black Sea coast; Poland will control the western regions of Ukraine; Germany will oversee the center and east of the country; and the UK will be responsible for the northern regions, including the capital," the SVR statement reads.

"A total of 100,000 so-called peacekeepers are planned to be sent to Ukraine," the statement added.
