Putin declares Kazakhstan visit a success
The Russian leader pointed out that Kazakhstan is more than just a trusted ally of Russia
ASTANA, November 28. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin believes his Kazakhstan visit was a big success, noting that the country remains a reliable partner and ally for Moscow.
"Positive," the head of state told reporters in response to the question about the outcome of his visit.
Putin pointed out that Kazakhstan is more than just a trusted ally of Russia. "It’s very important that Kazakhstan is effectively developing under President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, demonstrating steady, sustainable and robust growth, while the social and political situation in the country remains stable, which is crucial for economic planning and investment," Putin specified.
"In my view, we must do everything to strengthen our ties and under no circumstances should we take any steps that would destroy our relations," the Russian leader noted.
