Russia ready for talks with Ukraine on conditions proposed in June — Putin
The head of state held a meeting with the leadership of the Russian Foreign Ministry in June, where he listed the conditions for talks with Ukraine
ASTANA, November 28. /TASS/. Russia remains ready for talks with Ukraine on the same conditions that were announced in June, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters.
"We are still ready a) for a negotiation process and b) of course, on the terms that I outlined in my speech to the Foreign Ministry leadership in Moscow in June of this year. Nothing has changed," he said as he wrapped up his visit to Kazakhstan.
Putin held a meeting with the leadership of the Russian Foreign Ministry in June, where he listed the conditions for talks with Ukraine. They include the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, Ukraine’s commitment to adopt a non-aligned status, denazification and demilitarization of the country, and the lifting of all Western sanctions. The president insisted that all these conditions should be enshrined in fundamental international agreements.
