"Of course, it’s possible to produce something dirty - the so-called 'dirty bomb' - using waste from nuclear power plants," the Russian leader emphasized
ASTANA, November 28. /TASS/. Ukraine is unable to produce nuclear weapons except for a "dirty bomb," and Moscow will give an appropriate response to this threat, Russian President Vladimir Ptuin told reporters.
Speaking about the potential use of nuclear weapons by Kiev, he explained that Ukraine used to be a well-industrialized Soviet republic but "it’s all long gone."
"That said, it’s almost impossible to create anything from scratch. Of course, it’s possible to produce something dirty - the so-called 'dirty bomb' - using waste from nuclear power plants. But in this case, an appropriate response to the threats facing Russia will follow," Putin emphasized.
