ASTANA, November 28. /TASS/. Russia hopes for the further development of relations with Afghanistan as well as with the country’s current authorities while the situation in the country is on the course of stabilization, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.

"Complicated developments are underway today in Afghanistan," Putin told journalists. "We hope that we will manage to build up relations with Afghanistan."

"We cannot ignore the fact that the situation in the country is stabilizing. We are engaged in bilateral relations with the current authorities of Afghanistan and they [the relations] will be developed further," the Russian president added.
