MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. Russian forces struck Ukrainian military airfields and manpower in 146 areas over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.

"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck infrastructure of military airfields and amassed enemy manpower and military equipment in 146 areas," the ministry said in a statement.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 60 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy ammunition depot in its area of responsibility in the Kharkov Region over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the Kharkov direction, Battlegroup North units inflicted losses on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 92nd air assault brigade and the 5th border guard detachment of Ukraine’s Border Guard Service near the settlements of Liptsy, Kazachya Lopan and Slatino in the Kharkov Region. They repelled a counterattack by an enemy assault group," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 60 personnel, two motor vehicles and three 122mm D-30 howitzers, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted roughly 480 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy electronic warfare stations and three ammunition depots in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup West units gained new lines and positions and inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 14th, 116th, 63rd and 67th mechanized, 119th territorial defense and 1st National Guard brigades in areas near the settlements of Kucherovka, Dvurechnoye and Zagryzovo in the Kharkov Region, Kirovsk, Ivanovka and Seversk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repulsed three counterattacks by enemy assault groups," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost as many as 480 personnel, two infantry fighting vehicles, three motor vehicles, a British-made 155mm FH70 howitzer, a 152mm Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system and a US-made 105mm M119 artillery gun in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed two Anklav-N electronic warfare stations and three ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted roughly 330 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy ammunition depots in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup South units improved their frontline positions and inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 33rd mechanized, 79th air assault and 46th airmobile brigades in areas near the settlements of Kurakhovo and Dachnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost as many as 330 personnel, an armored combat vehicle and two motor vehicles in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed two ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted roughly 415 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy armored vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Center units conducted active operations and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 100th mechanized, 59th motorized infantry, 142nd infantry, 35th and 38th marine infantry and 14th National Guard brigades and the Lyut assault brigade of Ukraine’s national police near Dzerzhinsk, Dimitrov, Grodovka, Krasnoye, Petrovka, Nikolayevka, Novoekonomicheskoye and Lysovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repelled six counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army," the ministry said.

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted roughly 145 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed three enemy artillery guns in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup East units kept advancing deep into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted losses on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 23rd mechanized and 120th territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Razliv and Novosyolka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repelled a counterattack by an assault group of the Ukrainian army," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 145 personnel, four motor vehicles, two US-made 155mm M198 howitzers and a 152mm D-20 howitzer, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed a Bukovel-AD electronic warfare station of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted roughly 75 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy howitzer in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 110th mechanized and 118th territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Novoyakovlevka and Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 75 personnel, five motor vehicles and a 152mm D-20 howitzer, it specified.

Russian air defenses destroy 49 Ukrainian UAVs, Neptune missile over past day

Russian air defense forces shot down 49 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and a Neptune missile over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Air defense capabilities shot down a Neptune missile and 49 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 649 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 36,882 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 surface-to-air missile systems, 19,520 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,492 multiple rocket launchers, 18,647 field artillery guns and mortars and 28,783 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
