Ukraine fires around 30 shells at Russia’s Belgorod Region in past day

Eight artillery shells and six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were launched at the Shebekinsky district

BELGOROD, November 28. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have launched 34 shells and 27 drones at six districts in the Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the region’s governor, reported on his Telegram channel.

"In the Belgorod district, the settlements of Oktyabrsky, Blizhneye, Novaya Nelidovka, Repnoye, and Solomino were attacked by 15 shells in one round of shelling and five drones, four of which were intercepted by an air defense system," he wrote.

Eight artillery shells and six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were launched at the Shebekinsky district, damaging a private home, an apartment building, and two trucks. The Grayvoronsky district was struck by five shells and eight drones.

"The settlement of Stary in the Volokonovsky district was shelled with two projectiles <…>. Four shells in one round of shelling and three drones were fired at the settlements of Demidovka and Kolotilovka in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district," the regional head reported.

He added that the city of Belgorod was attacked by one drone, with an unoccupied building damaged. Four UAVs were launched at the Borisovsky district, damaging a car.
