MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. Ukraine’s army has suffered more than 250 casualties in the Kursk area in the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
Since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk direction, the enemy has lost more than 36,010 personnel.
Investigators have opened a criminal case into a Ukrainian attack on the Fatezh District in the bordering region of Kursk that left two civilians killed, TASS has learned at the Main Military Investigations Department at the Russian Investigative Committee.

Operation to eliminate Ukrainian troops continues
- Units from the Battlegroup North have struck Ukrainian troops near the localities of Aleksandriya, Daryino, Lebedevka, Leonidovka, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolsky, Nizhny Klin, Novoivanovka, Plyokhovo, Sverdlikovo and Viktorovka.
- Russian operational/tactical aircraft and combat helicopters as well as artillery struck enemy troops and military hardware in the Kursk Region and the adjacent Sumy Region in Ukraine.
- The operation to wipe out Ukrainian troops is ongoing.
Scope of Ukrainian losses
- Over the past day, Ukraine has sustained over 250 casualties, losing two tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored personnel carrier, two armored combat vehicles, three motor vehicles and a mortar gun.
- In total, the enemy’s losses since the beginning of the fighting in the Kursk area have amounted to more than 36,010 troops, 223 tanks, 157 infantry fighting vehicles, 122 armored personnel carriers, 1,199 armored combat vehicles, 304 artillery pieces, 40 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 HIMARS and six MLRS of US manufacture, 13 anti-aircraft missile launchers, seven transport and loading vehicles, 70 electronic warfare stations, 13 counter-battery radars, and four air defense radars. Moreover, the enemy lost 27 pieces of engineering and other equipment, including 13 counter-obstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine-clearing vehicle, six armored repair and recovery vehicles, as well as a command and staff vehicle.
Civilians injured in attack on their car
- Ukrainian militants attacked two civilian motor vehicles in the Bolshoye Soldatskoye District in the Kursk Region, using drones. Injuries have been reported from the attack, the head of the municipality, Vladimir Zaitsev, said.
Probe into Ukrainian terror attack
- Investigators have opened a criminal probe into a Ukrainian attack on the Fatezh District in the Kursk Region that resulted in two civilian deaths, the Main Military Investigations Department at the Russian Investigative Committee told TASS.
- The perpetrators are being charged with terrorism.
