MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have lost 500 military personnel over the past ten days near Dzerzhinsk (known as Toretsk in Ukraine) in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Strana media outlet quoted Andrey Onistrat, a Ukrainian serviceman.

The soldier noted that the 95th brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces had suffered losses. "Four armored personnel carriers, 40 soldiers gone," he said. "The same happened the next day. In total, 500 people lost in ten days."

On November 24, 2024, Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR, said that the Russian Armed Forces were advancing in Dzerzhinsk. Ukrainian forces have yet to receive an order to retreat from the city, he added.
