MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. Moscow is concerned that the outgoing US administration, led by President Joe Biden, continues to follow the path of escalation in the Ukrainian conflict, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"We have been expressing our concerns that the outgoing Washington administration prefers to continue on the path of further escalation," Peskov said.

Peskov’s statement comes in the wake of US National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby who said earlier in the month that the American administration had provided the Ukrainian armed forces with instructions on selecting targets for strikes using American ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles. The West has actually confirmed its authorization to use ATACMS for strikes inside Russia.
