MOSCOW, November 22. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have lost more than 200 troops and a German-made Fuchs armored personnel carrier in the Kursk area over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Ukraine’s losses

- Over the day, the enemy lost more than 200 troops, a tank, three armored infantry vehicles, including a German-made Marder and a Bradley of US-manufacture, four armored combat vehicles, five motor vehicles, four artillery pieces and a mortar.

Housing assistance to residents

- The process of accepting applications for housing certificates for those who lost their homes following the massive attack of the Ukrainian armed forces in the borderline Kursk Region continues, with no issues with queues reported, Alexey Smirnov, the region's head, said.

- The governor specified that visitors can come in and apply from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Families of special operation participants, large families, veterans and the disabled receive priority for the housing certificates. Displaced persons can also receive compensation for rent.

Case against Lithuanian mercenary

- The Russian Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case against Lithuanian mercenary Sharunas Jasiukevicius, who infiltrated the Kursk Region as part of the Ukrainian armed forces, the committee's press service told TASS.

- The investigation established that Jasiukevicius has been training mercenaries for a long time and has personally directly engaged in the armed conflict as a mercenary in Russia.
