MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Russian forces struck Ukrainian military airfields and power facilities of Ukraine’s military-industrial sector over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Monday.

"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck infrastructure of military airfields, power facilities supporting the operation of Ukraine’s military-industrial sector and amassed enemy manpower and military equipment in 138 areas," the ministry said in a statement.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 30 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy armored vehicles in its area of responsibility in the Kharkov Region over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the Kharkov direction, Battlegroup North units inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 43rd mechanized, 57th motorized infantry and 95th air assault brigades near the settlements of Volchansk and Liptsy in the Kharkov Region and the city of Kharkov," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 30 personnel, two armored combat vehicles and four motor vehicles, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicts 400 casualties on Ukrainian army over past day

Russia’s Battlegroup West repelled five Ukrainian army counterattacks and inflicted roughly 400 casualties on enemy troops in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup West units improved their tactical position and inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 14th and 63rd mechanized, 25th airborne, 35th marine infantry and 119th territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Petropavlovka and Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region, Yampol and Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repelled five counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 44th mechanized and 1st National Guard brigades," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 400 personnel, an infantry fighting vehicle, four pickup trucks and a US-made 105mm M101 artillery gun, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed an electronic warfare station and four ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted roughly 300 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two US-made artillery guns in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup South units gained more advantageous positions and inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 23rd and 54th mechanized, 56th motorized infantry, 46th airmobile, 79th air assault, 37th marine infantry and 110th territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Chasov Yar, Verkhnekamenskoye, Andreyevka, Dachnoye, Sukhiye Yaly, Kurakhovo and Ulakly in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 300 personnel, two motor vehicles and two US-made 105mm M119 artillery guns, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted more than 440 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy tank in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Center units continued moving deeper into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 24th and 37th mechanized, 152nd infantry and 1st National Guard brigades near the settlements of Shevchenko, Katerinovka, Kleban-Byk and Zarya in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repulsed 12 counterattacks by units of the Ukrainian army’s 42nd, 100th and 117th mechanized and 5th assault brigades, 49th and 425th assault battalions, 35th and 38th marine infantry brigades and the Lyut assault brigade of Ukraine’s national police," the ministry said.

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted roughly 110 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy artillery gun in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup East units improved their frontline positions and inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 113th, 120th and 241st territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Novy Komar and Konstantinopol in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Temirovka in the Zaporozhye Region. They repelled two counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 33rd mechanized brigade," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 110 personnel, an infantry fighting vehicle, two motor vehicles and a 152mm Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicts 40 casualties on Ukrainian army over past day

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted roughly 40 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed a US-made howitzer in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted losses on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 141st infantry, 124th and 126th territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Novoandreyevka in the Zaporozhye Region, Ponyatovka in the Kherson Region and the city of Kherson," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 40 personnel, three motor vehicles and a US-made 155mm M777 howitzer, it specified.

Russian air defenses down 45 Ukrainian UAVs, eight ballistic missiles over day

Russian air defense forces shot down 45 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and eight ballistic missiles over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Air defense capabilities shot down eight ballistic missiles, six US-made JDAM guided aerial bombs and 45 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 649 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 36,648 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 surface-to-air missile systems, 19,501 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,492 multiple rocket launchers, 18,502 field artillery guns and mortars and 28,718 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
