Russian, North Korean ministers of sport agree on exchanges in 2025 — KCNA
The Russian delegation has toured sports facilities and memorials in Pyongyang and viewed a Taekwondo demonstration
SEOUL, November 25. /TASS/. The Russian and North Korean sports ministers, Mikhail Degtyarev and Kim Il Guk, respectively, signed a protocol for sports exchanges in 2025 as they held talks in Pyongyang on Sunday, North Korea’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
"The negotiations discussed issues related to the expanding and strengthening of exchanges and cooperation in sports between Russia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). A protocol for exchanges in 2025 has been signed between the two sports ministries," the news agency said. At the talks, the two sports ministers were accompanied by O Kwang Hyok, vice-minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the DPRK, specialized government officials, Russian Ambassador to Pyongyang Alexander Matsegora, Russian diplomats and members of the Russian delegation.
The Russian delegation has toured sports facilities and memorials in Pyongyang and viewed a Taekwondo demonstration.
Degtyarev arrived in North Korea on November 22.
