According to Yevgeny Lisnyak, the special services threaten people with criminal charges of collaborationism if they refuse to join the unit

MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Ukrainian security services are assembling a sabotage unit that they want to deploy to Kupyansk after its liberation by Russian forces, said Yevgeny Lisnyak, deputy head of the Kharkov regional military-civilian administration.

This administration obtained this information after an appeal from the mother of a student of Kharkov National University named after Karazin, who said her son was taken to the Security Service of Ukraine after detention by military recruitment officials.

"Ukrainian security services, using threats and psychological manipulation, forced the student to join a sabotage group, which they plan to deploy to the territory of the town of Kupyansk after its liberation by Russian troops. The mission of this group is to destroy or temporarily disable transportation and communication facilities, as well as collect information about the location of Russian Federation security forces in the liberated territories," the official said.

According to Lisnyak, the special services threaten people with criminal charges of collaborationism if they refuse to join the unit.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation continue to advance deeper into the territory of the Kharkov Region, liberating new territories and settlements. In this regard, we appeal to Kharkov Region residents with a request to assist with a quick liberation from the neo-Nazi regime, and the establishment of peace and law and order on the territory of our region," he said.

Kupyansk is a city in the east of the Kharkov Region, serving as a major railway junction. On November 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin said there were two pockets near Kupyansk where a total of about 15,000 Ukrainian troops were blockaded. On November 19, the head of the region's military-civilian administration, Vitaly Ganchev, said that Russian servicemen were mopping up the industrial zone of Kupyansk from the enemy.
