MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. Russian forces liberated the community of Ilyinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.

"Battlegroup Center units liberated the settlement of Ilyinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of active offensive operations," the ministry said in a statement.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted more than 105 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy tanks in its area of responsibility in the Kharkov Region over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the Kharkov direction, Battlegroup North units inflicted losses on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 95th air assault and 22nd mechanized brigades near the settlements of Liptsy, Borshchevaya, Chernoglazovka and Volchansk in the Kharkov Region. They repelled a counterattack by the Ukrainian army’s 92nd assault brigade," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost more than 105 personnel, two tanks, two armored personnel carriers, an infantry fighting vehicle, two motor vehicles and a 152mm D-20 howitzer in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicts 420 casualties on Ukrainian army over past day

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted roughly 420 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed four enemy ammunition depots in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup West units improved their tactical position and inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 28th, 44th, 60th, 63rd, 66th and 67th mechanized, 68th jaeger, 25th airborne, 35th marine infantry, 119th territorial defense and 4th National Guard brigades near the settlements of Lozovaya, Petropavlovka, Zelyony Gai, Izyumskoye, Novoyegorovka, Zagryzovo and Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region, Torskoye and Ivanovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Nadiya in the Lugansk People’s Republic and in the area of the Serebryansky forestry. They repulsed five counterattacks by formations of the Ukrainian army’s 3rd assault and 14th mechanized brigades," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost as many as 420 personnel, an infantry fighting vehicle, three motor vehicles, and also an M113 armored personnel carrier, a 155mm M198 howitzer and a 105mm M119 artillery gun of US manufacture in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed four ammunition depots and an UAV warehouse of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted roughly 500 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed five enemy ammunition depots in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup South units continued advancing deep into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 24th, 30th, 46th and 54th mechanized, 56th motorized infantry, 46th airmobile, 79th air assault and 37th marine infantry brigades near the settlements of Zaliznyanskoye, Nikolayevka, Annovka, Chasov Yar, Ulakly, Minkovka, Sukhiye Yaly, Kurakhovo and Seversk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repelled two counterattacks by assault groups of the 116th territorial defense brigade," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost as many as 500 personnel, a Kozak armored combat vehicle, four pickup trucks, a 155mm M777 howitzer and a 105mm M119 artillery gun of US manufacture and two 122mm D-30 howitzers in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed a US-made AN/TPQ-36 counterbattery radar station and five ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted roughly 390 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed six enemy artillery guns in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

Over the past 24 hours, Battlegroup Center units "inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 100th mechanized, 1st tank, 109th territorial defense and 12th National Guard brigades near the settlements of Druzhba, Shcherbinovka, Dzerzhinsk, Zarya and Sukhaya Balka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repelled 12 counterattacks by formations of the Ukrainian army’s 23rd, 42nd and 117th mechanized, 68th, 71st and 152nd jaeger brigades, 425th assault battalion, 35th marine infantry brigade and the Lyut assault brigade of Ukraine’s national police," the ministry said in a statement.

The Ukrainian army lost as many as 390 personnel, a Kozak armored combat vehicle, two motor vehicles, a US-made 155mm M777 howitzer, three 122mm D-30 howitzers, a 152mm D-20 howitzer and a 152mm Msta-B howitzer, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicts 115 casualties on Ukrainian army over past day

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted roughly 115 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two US-made howitzers in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup East units improved their frontline positions and inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 33rd mechanized, 113th, 120th, 128th and 129th territorial defense and 21st National Guard brigades near the settlements of Razliv, Velikaya Novosyolka and Oktyabr in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repelled two counterattacks by assault groups of the 123rd territorial defense brigade," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 115 personnel, a tank, a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, two motor vehicles, a 155mm Bogdana self-propelled artillery system and two US-made 155mm M198 howitzers, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed an Anklav-N electronic warfare station of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicts 80 casualties on Ukrainian army over past day

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted roughly 80 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy electronic warfare station and a radio-electronic surveillance station in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 65th and 110th mechanized, 103rd and 126th territorial defense and 15th National Guard brigades near the settlements of Novopavlovka and Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye Region, Dneprovskoye, Nikolskoye and Kazatskoye in the Kherson Region," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost as many as 80 personnel, three motor vehicles, a 152mm D-20 howitzer, an Anklav-N electronic warfare station and a Plastun radio-electronic surveillance station in that frontline area, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed a materiel depot of the Ukrainian army over the past 24 hours, it said.

Russian forces strike Ukrainian military airfields, UAV depots over past day

Russian forces struck Ukrainian military airfields and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) warehouses over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck infrastructure of military airfields, power facilities of Ukraine’s military-industrial sector, UAV warehouses and amassed enemy manpower and military equipment in 139 areas," the ministry said.

Russian air defenses destroy 141 Ukrainian UAVs over past day

Russian air defense forces shot down 141 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and four smart bombs over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Air defense capabilities shot down four French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs, a rocket of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 141 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 648 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 36,400 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 surface-to-air missile systems, 19,397 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,490 multiple rocket launchers, 18,248 field artillery guns and mortars and 28,541 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
