MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. The West is compelled to roll out "the big guns" in order to convince the world that it still has control over the situation, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergey Naryshkin said in an interview with National Defense magazine.

"For the Anglo-Saxon world, any justification of special services’ operations is unprecedented. It calls to mind the big guns the West is obliged to roll out to assure the global audience that they still have control over the world's situation," he said. "It should be noted that our [Western] colleagues have made every effort to successfully accomplish this task."

"However, an agile mind and a quick tongue are clearly not enough for the Anglo-Saxons to bend reality today. The liberal world order is losing its alluring appeal. Western intelligence services will have to accept it," the official emphasized.
