Donald Trump announced that his campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt will be the new White House press secretary

MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told TASS that although he is not acquainted with Karoline Leavitt, picked by President-elect Donald Trump to the post of the White House press secretary, he is ready for dialogue.

When asked whether he knew Leavitt personally, Peskov replied briefly: "No," but added that he was ready for dialogue with his US counterpart.

"If our president says he is ready [for dialogue with the US leader], we should also be ready," the Kremlin spokesman said.

On November 15, US President-elect Donald Trump announced that his campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt will be the new White House press secretary. Leavitt, 27, will be the youngest White House press secretary to ever hold this post.
