Ukraine loses almost 10,100 troops while trying to counterattack in LPR last week — expert
According to Andrey Marochko, from November 9 to November 15, the battlegroups North, West and South destroyed 32 Ukrainian tanks, 75 field artillery guns and over 320 different combat vehicles
LUGANSK, November 18. /TASS/. Russian servicemen last week repulsed 34 Ukrainian attempts to invade the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), eliminating almost 10,100 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.
"From November 9 to November 15, the battlegroups West and South repelled 34 Ukrainian counterattacks: nine less than in the previous reporting period. For two weeks there has been a decrease in the enemy's attacks. <...> The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces in the area of responsibility of the battlegroups North, South and West during the reporting period amounted to about 10,910 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries, which is 1,310 more than in the previous reporting period. The largest number of militants was eliminated in the area of responsibility of the battlegroup South," he said.
Marochko added that during the abovementioned period the Russian forces destroyed 32 Ukrainian tanks, 75 field artillery guns, 26 electronic and counter-battery warfare stations, 44 field ammunition depots, as well as over 320 different combat vehicles.
