MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who is visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE), held talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"On Thursday, Sergey Lavrov arrived in the United Arab Emirates to take part in the Sir Bani Yas international forum, where he will hold a series of bilateral meetings," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

According to Zakharova, on Friday, the minister "has already met with the Egyptian foreign ministers and with Lebanon’s former Prime Minister Saad Hariri."

The top Russian and Egyptian diplomats discussed a range of issues of bilateral relations, as well as international problems, including the situation in the Middle East and around the Ukrainian crisis.
