Lavrov to attend Caspian cooperation meeting on November 21 — MFA

MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will attend the third session of the inter-agency committee on cooperation in the Caspian Region, Maria Zakharova, the ministry’s spokeswoman, announced at a briefing.
"On November 21, the third session of the inter-agency committee on cooperation in the Caspian Region will take place in the Russian Foreign Ministry building under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov," the spokeswoman said.
The diplomat noted that the relevant ministries and agencies from the Astrakhan Region, the republics of Dagestan and Kalmykia, as well as representatives of Russia’s Federal Assembly, will participate in the meeting.
"A wide range of topics concerning Russia’s national interests in the Caspian Region, as well as the prospects for increasing cooperation, will be addressed at the event," she added.
