Russia, African countries confirm intention to hold third summit in 2026 — statement

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry’s Africa Department Director Vsevolod Tkachenko said in an interview with TASS that the third Russia-Africa summit will be held in one of the African countries in 2026

MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. The participants in the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum have confirmed that the third summit of this format will be held in 2026.

"The top Russian diplomats and the foreign ministers of the UN-recognized African states, the leadership of the African Union Commission and executive bodies, leading African integration associations, as well as their representatives, the participants in the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, express their commitment to further joint work to deepen cooperation and ensure the successful holding of the third Russia-Africa summit in 2026," a joint statement following the event said.
