Russian first deputy PM arrives in India to take part in Russian-Indian Business Forum
Manturov and Jaishankar are co-chairs of the Russian-Indian intergovernmental commission
NEW DELHI, November 10. /TASS/. Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov has arrived in India to attend a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade-and-economic, scientific-and-technical and cultural cooperation and a Russian-Indian Business Forum.
Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has welcomed Manturov. "Pleased to welcome First DMP of Russian Denis Manturov to India today. Look forward to our engagement at the Indi-Russia Business Forum tomorrow," he wrote on his X account.
Manturov and Jaishankar are co-chairs of the Russian-Indian intergovernmental commission.
On Monday, Mumbai will host a Russian-Indian Business Forum timed to the meeting of the intergovernmental commission. The visiting Russian first deputy prime minister and top Indian diplomat will take part in the forum. The commission’s meeting is scheduled for November 12.
