SOCHI, November 7. /TASS/ Russia has repeatedly stopped those pressing for world domination and it will continue doing so, President Vladimir Putin said at the Valdai Discussion Club’s plenary session.

"Russia has more than once stopped those who were pressing for world domination, whoever were doing that, and it will continue to do so," he emphasized.

Putin recalled that some had already tried to ruin Russia and to eliminate everything that remained after the collapse of the Soviet Union, but now, it seems, someone also dreams about it, thinks that the world will be more obedient, and will be better managed."

Putin noted that those who think this way should remember that in such a case the world will be "only more complex."
