MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have lost more than 150 troops in the Kursk area over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
In total, the enemy has lost more than 30,200 troops since the fighting began in the region.
Russian troops repelled four Ukrainian counterattacks towards the settlements of Daryino and Novoivanovka, also thwarting an attack towards Novaya Sorochina.

Operation to neutralize Ukrainian forces

- Units of the battlegroup continued offensive operations, defeating Ukrainian formations in the areas of the settlements of Daryino, Leonidovo, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Novoivanovka and Plekhovo.
- Russian tactical aircraft and artillery hit clusters of Ukrainian manpower and equipment in the Kursk Region.
- Operational/tactical aircraft and missile forces hit amassment areas and enemy reserves in the Sumy Region.
- The operation to destroy Ukrainian forces is ongoing.
Ukraine’s losses
- Over the day, the enemy lost more than 150 servicemen, a tank, an artillery piece, four mortars and a motor vehicle.
- Since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk Region, Kiev has lost over 30,200 troops, 185 tanks, 115 infantry fighting vehicles, 107 armored personnel carriers, 1,088 armored combat vehicles, 818 motor vehicles, 262 artillery pieces, 40 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 HIMARS and six MLRS of US manufacture, 11 anti-aircraft missile launchers, seven transport and loading vehicles, 59 electronic warfare stations, 12 counter-battery radars, four air defense radars, 26 pieces of engineering and other equipment, including 13 counter-obstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine-clearing vehicle, five armored repair and recovery vehicles, as well as a command and staff vehicle.
Investigation against Ukrainian militants
- The Investigative Committee has completed the investigation into the criminal case of a terrorist attack committed by seven Ukrainian militants who infiltrated the Kursk Region, the agency's press service told TASS.
- The militants responsible are Anatoly Voloshin, Vladimir Arshulik, Sergey Karayev, Alexander Doichuk, Zinovy Sigerich, Andrian Kulbaba and Oleg Vovk, members of the 202nd battalion of the 103rd territorial defense brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces.
- It was established by the investigation that in early August this year, they illegally crossed the Russian state border as part of the Ukrainian army.
- The militants repeatedly opened fire on Russian servicemen and civilians with intent to kill while in the Korenevsky district of the Kursk Region, including in the settlements of Krasnooktyabrskoye, Snagost and Komarovka.
- Voloshin, Arshulik, Karayev, Doichuk, Sigerich, Kulbaba and Vovk were detained in the course of the operational, search and investigative activities.
