MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Russia pursues a constructive course in its foreign policy that takes into account both its interests and global trends, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a ceremony of receiving credentials from foreign ambassadors in the Kremlin.
"Russia is an active participant in international life. We pursue a constructive foreign policy course that takes into account both our national interests and obvious trends in global development," the Russian president said.
The head of state cited the BRICS Summit held in Kazan as an example. "It was the peak of the Russian chairmanship and a notable event on the global political agenda," Putin emphasized.
