MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Units of the Russian Armed Forces are demonstrating unparalleled ingenuity and employing unconventional tactics in the liberation of settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, the region’s head, said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.

"There is room for personal courage, which cannot be overlooked. This is underscored by the awards our troops have received. However, courage and common sense are one thing, while the unprecedented ingenuity displayed by entire units is something completely different. These unconventional approaches and methods, which we first observed at earlier stages, are now being used more widely. It is precisely this ingenuity that has enabled the liberation of one settlement after another," Pushilin said.

The DPR leader also emphasized that the enemy should not be underestimated, so as not to diminish the significance of Russian forces' achievements.

On October 28, DPR adviser Igor Kimakovsky stated that the collapse of Ukrainian defenses in the southern part of the republic paves the way for further liberation in the coming months. Following the liberation of Ugledar, the Ukrainian defense line to the south of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name: Pokrovsk) has begun to crumble. Dry weather has also been a contributing factor to the success of the ongoing offensive.
