MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. Russia stays in touch with all partners, including Turkey, after Iran's retaliatory attack against Israel, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko told the media in response to a TASS question.

"This situation is being discussed through diplomatic channels. Naturally, our ambassadors are in touch with all their counterparts, including on this issue," Grushko said. "Given the fact that the [UN] Security Council meeting was held yesterday, our mission communicates with all countries that have some influence, including Turkey, of course."

On the evening of April 13, Iran launched drones and missiles toward Israel, calling it a response to numerous crimes, including an air attack on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus. Tehran said military installations were the targets. The Israel Defense Forces said it had intercepted 99% of the Iranian projectiles flying toward the Jewish state, with minor damage to the Nevatim air base.
