Ukraine actively uses Caesar self-propelled howitzers in Zaporozhye Region — politician
Vladimir Rogov did not specified the amount of Ukrainian equipment
MELITOPOL, April 15. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces are actively using French 155 mm Caesar self-propelled howitzers in the Zaporozhye Region to shell Russian troops' positions and the liberated part of the region, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the 'We Are Together with Russia’ movement, said.
"Now a large number of Caesar self-propelled howitzers have appeared, they shell our positions and the liberated part of the Zaporozhye Region. They are not running out of shells," Rogov said, without specifying the amount of Ukrainian equipment.
He added that Caesar self-propelled howitzers had also been spotted in recent days in the direction of the DPR’s Chasov Yar.
On March 12, French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal told the lower house of the national parliament that Paris intends to supply six Caesar self-propelled howitzers for the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces and will sponsor the delivery of 12 more of them to Ukraine in addition to the six mentioned above.
