UNITED NATIONS, April 15. /TASS/. The United States, the United Kingdom and France have refused to confirm the inviolability of diplomatic facilities, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said.
"The US, the UK and France essentially refused to confirm that the basic principles of international law on the inviolability of diplomatic and consular facilities, enshrined in the relevant Vienna Conventions, apply equally to all states. The result, as they say, is obvious," Nebenzya said at the UN Security Council meeting.
Earlier, the United States and the United Kingdom refused to discuss the draft statement of the UN Security Council on the strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus proposed by Russia.
