Drone attack leaves two people injured in Russian city of Belgorod

MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. A Ukrainian drone attack has left two people injured in the Russian city of Belgorod, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
"A drone crashed into a resource provider’s administrative building. The resulting explosion left two people injured, with one of them suffering a shrapnel injury to his leg and another one sustaining shrapnel injuries to both his arms and legs. The two were taken to the hospital and are now receiving the necessary medical treatment," the governor wrote on Telegram.
According to Gladkov, the building's facade was damaged. Response teams are working at the scene.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported earlier that air defenses had destroyed five Ukrainian drones over the Belgorod Region at about 10:00 a.m. local time (7:00 a.m. GMT) on Friday.
