Ukrainian drone attacked ZNPP facility 10 minutes after passage of IAEA employees

ZNPP Spokeswoman Yevgeniya Yashina added that the employees "were on their way back from their planned visit to the external radiation monitoring laboratory"

MELITOPOL, April 9. /TASS/. A Ukrainian drone attacked the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant training center 10 minutes after International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) employees passed by the building, ZNPP Spokeswoman Yevgeniya Yashina said on a video, obtained by TASS.

"The Ukrainian attack occurred 10 minutes after IAEA employees, who were on their way back from their planned visit to the external radiation monitoring laboratory, passed by the training center," Yashina said.

She added that this training center is unique, because it contains real equipment, including a reactor hall.

"The only thing that is not present here is nuclear fuel. ZNPP employees receive education here, practice technological operations, including in the reactor hall," Yashina said.

According to the spokeswoman, neither the employees nor the center equipment were affected by the attack.
