MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces shelled a settlement in Russia’s Bryansk Region, killing a woman and a child and injuring three others, Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported.

"Ukrainian terrorists fired artillery at the peaceful population of the Klimovo settlement. They hit the very center of the settlement. Unfortunately, a woman and a child were killed. According to preliminary information, three peaceful civilians were injured. They are now receiving medical assistance," he said on his Telegram channel.

The governor added that as a result of the terrorist attack, a house caught fire and several cars were damaged. He added that the inspection of the shelled area is continuing and that emergency services are working on the site.
