MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have found themselves in a very difficult situation in the Chasov Yar area, Andrey Zadubinny, a spokesman for Ukraine’s eastern command, has told Reuters.

"The situation there is very difficult, the fighting continues," he said.

Earlier, Igor Kimakovsky, an adviser to the head of the DPR, told TASS that Russian assault groups had cleared the forest belt on the outskirts of Chasov Yar and reached residential areas. Chasov Yar is west of Artyomovsk.
