Ukraine deploys reserves near Avdeyevka hoping to regain lost ground — aide to DPR head
Igor Kimakovsky noted that Ukrainian forces were also active near the village of Vodyanoye
DONETSK, April 4. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces transferred reserves to the Pervomayskoye settlement near Avdeyevka in an unsuccessful attempt to regain the previously lost ground, Igor Kimakovsky, aide to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, told TASS.
"Ukrainian armed formations have transferred reserves to Pervomayskoye: personnel and armored vehicles. They are making futile attempts to regain to the lost ground. They are suffering losses," Kimakovsky said.
He added that Ukrainian forces were also active near the village of Vodyanoye.
Earlier, Kimakovsky told TASS that Kiev had withdrawn part of its forces from the settlements of Berdychi and Semenovka due to the threat of encirclement. He also did not rule out that the withdrawn troops could be redeployed to other parts of the front line in the Avdeyevka area.
