Stagnation, recession of EU economies is price for anti-Russian policies — PM Mishustin
Russia, according to the Prime Minister, is focused on protecting its own interests and its development
MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Europeans are paying for the anti-Russian policies of their leaders with the stagnation and recession of their economies, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
"The dynamics in Europe at the end of 2023 were not far from zero. In Germany, even a small recession was recorded at -0.3%. This is the real price that residents of the countries that impose sanctions against us pay for the ambitions of their politicians," he said.
Russia, according to Mishustin, is focused on protecting its own interests and its development.
At the same time, Mishustin said that he is not entirely satisfied with the result of the fight against inflation, although the government is constantly dealing with this problem. "There are issues that are always in the focus of the government’s attention, we work on them constantly, but we are not satisfied will all the results," Mishustin said.
