Russia invests around $1.49 bln in development of high-tech products
Mikhail Mishustin stressed that Russia planned to enter the top 25 countries in the world in terms of the number of industrial robots in six years
MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Forming large projects for organizing the development of significant types of high-tech products in Russia is being completed - the total investment volume of these projects reached around 137 bln rubles ($1.49 bln), Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
"We are finishing the formation of large projects for organizing our own production of significant types of high-tech products, including microelectronics components, ‘smart’ machines, gas turbines, medical equipment. <...> The total volume of financing for these projects amounted to around 137 bln rubles," he said.
Mishustin added that Russia plans to enter the top 25 countries in the world in terms of the number of industrial robots in six years. "We need to help enterprises carry out technical re-equipment and modernization. The goals have been defined. Russia intends to become one of the 25 leading countries in the world in terms of the number of industrial robots in six years," Mishustin said.
