Ukraine’s army building 2nd defensive line near Orekhov in Zaporozhye Region

"The construction work proceeds at a high pace as can be seen thanks to drones and reconnaissance, and local residents confirm this," Vladimir Rogov said

MELITOPOL, March 29. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military has begun to build the second defensive line near the Kiev-held town of Orekhov in the Zaporozhye Region, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia public movement, told TASS on Friday.

"They have brought a large amount of construction equipment and workers who are building the second defensive line in the Orekhov area. The construction work proceeds at a high pace as can be seen thanks to drones and reconnaissance, and local residents confirm this," he said.

Rogov told TASS in January that the Ukrainian military might retreat to new fortified positions at a distance of 3 km to 12 km from the current engagement line in the Zaporozhye direction for further defense. He said that Ukrainian troops were preparing fortifications, fortified command posts, troop temporary deployment sites, warehouses and infrastructural facilities in the new defensive line.
