MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in the city of Torzhok in the Tver Region, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"Vladimir Putin arrived in the town of Torzhok in the Tver Region. His visit is related to Cultural Workers Day celebrated the day before. The president began his visit to Torzhok by going to the All-Russian Historical and Ethnographic Museum," the Kremlin spokesman said.
According to him, Putin "inspected the museum's exposition, got acquainted with the unique collection of birch bark letters and other exhibits." "After that, Putin intends to hold a meeting with cultural workers of the Tver Region at said museum," the Kremlin spokesman informed. He said that it will be "an open, detailed conversation." After that, Putin is also scheduled to have a conversation with Tver Region Governor Igor Rudeney.
