Russia to revise participation in treaties that do not meet its interests — MFA
Russia will not only continue to effectively oppose the West's "juridical aggression", but will also make a proactive response to bring to justice countries that violate their international obligations
MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. Russia intends to reconsider its participation in international agreements that do not meet its interests, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement following a board meeting.
"To go ahead with the inventorying of the regulatory basis of Russia’s relations, carried out in the previous years, legal analysis of proposals for the termination and suspension of treaties that have lost relevance or ceased to meet the interests of our country will be continued on a permanent basis," the Foreign Ministry said.
Russia will not only continue to effectively oppose the West's "juridical aggression", but will also make a proactive response to bring to justice countries that violate their international obligations.
"At the same time, it is important to oppose the West's actions to politicize international justice agencies and other multilateral structures. It is also recognized necessary to build up, together with like-minded countries, collective efforts in the legal sphere against the illegal neo-colonial practice of unilateral coercive measures," the Foreign Ministry pointed out.
