Russia imposes sanctions against 56 Canadian citizens — Foreign Ministry
The list includes individuals "actively involved through the academic community and pro-Bandera structures in the campaign to praise Hitler’s accomplices from the OUN-UPA and the Galicia division, businessmen and heads of companies who are involved in the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine"
MOSCOW, March 23. /TASS/. Russia has added 56 Canadian citizens to its sanctions list, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"In response to the sanctions constantly imposed by the Liberal government of Justin Trudeau against representatives of the Russian leadership, the business community, academia and civil society, as well as anyone who is disliked by the official Ottawa, which is guarding the pro-Nazi regime in Kiev, entry into Russia is permanently closed to 56 Canadian citizens," the ministry said.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the list includes individuals "actively involved through the academic community and pro-Bandera structures in the campaign to praise Hitler’s accomplices from the OUN-UPA (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists - banned in the Russian Federation) and the Galicia division, including disgraceful honoring in the Canadian Parliament of the Nazi Y. Gunko, businessmen and heads of companies who are involved in the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as active participants in the Russophobic campaign inflated by the authorities.".
