Russian defenses successfully repel Ukrainian sabotage efforts at border, Kremlin reports
Attempts by Ukrainian saboteurs to infiltrate the Russian border regions have been reported almost daily recently
MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been ineffective in their attempts to penetrate the Russian state border, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
Speaking about the border regions, in particular the Belgorod and Kursk Regions, the spokesman pointed out that the enemy has not occupied Russia’s territory there and will never do so. "You have heard the statements from the Defense Ministry. All these attempts to invade by sabotage groups, the overwhelming majority of them were stopped while [they were] still on their approach to our state border," Peskov emphasized.
"That is why there [in the Belgorod and Kursk Regions], of course, there is no discussing (the occupation of part of the territories by the enemy - TASS) that," Peskov pointed out.
