MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. The maximum task facing the North Atlantic Alliance is to open a second front against Russia in South Caucasus, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a news briefing.
"[NATO] set itself the maximum task of opening a second front against our country and reigniting [tensions in] the region anew," the Russian diplomat said.
Agreements in pursuit of peace in the region, reached with Russia’s mediation, irritated the West, Zakharova concluded as she said those were "based on mutual respect and mutual consideration of interests.".
