MOSCOW, March 19. /TASS/. The date of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ visit to Russia may be agreed soon, Russian presidential envoy for the Middle East and African countries and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said.

"He has an invitation. I think the date will be agreed in the near future," he said.

"We expect him to suggest some convenient dates that could be considered by our government," he added.

Last year, Bogdanov said that Abbas’ visit to Russia that had ben originally scheduled for November 15 was postponed at the request of the Palestinian side.
