MOSCOW, March 17. /TASS/. Vladimir Putin receives 87.8% of the vote in Russia’s presidential election, according to an exit poll conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM).
Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) nominee Nikolay Kharitonov is second (4.7%), New People party nominee Vladislav Davankov is third (3.6%) and Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) nominee Leonid Slutsky is fourth (2.5%).
The poll was conducted at 1,320 polling stations in 82 Russian regions on March 15-17. Over 230,000 people were surveyed.
