Ukraine’s attacks on Russian regions repelled, enemy losing 550 troops — Kremlin spokesman
Ukrainian saboteurs made several attempts to violate Russia’s border during the past nigh Dmitry Peskov said
MOSCOW, March 16, /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has been informed about the attacks by Ukrainian saboteurs on the Belgorod and Kursk Regions; all the attacks were rebuffed, with the enemy losing 550 troops, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Putin receives reports from the military about the recent attempted attacks on our territories in the Belgorod and Kursk Regions. All the attacks were repelled," he said. "As many as 1,700 out of 2,500 saboteurs were neutralized, the enemy’s irretrievable losses amounted to 550 troops."
According to Peskov, Ukrainian saboteurs made several attempts to violate Russia’s border during the past night. "All of them were foiled. The Russian border was not violated in either of them. Ukraine’s irreparable losses amounted to 60-70%," he said.
Russian forces have been repelling Ukraine’s attacks on Russia’s territory for several days. According to Putin, these attacks are geared to break down presidential election in Russia, but, he said he is convinced that they will only consolidate the Russian people.
