MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. The remnants of Ukrainian sabotage-reconnaissance group who tried to infiltrate the Belgorod region through the village of Kozinka on March 14 were destroyed in a minefield during their retreat to Ukrainian territory, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
"A sabotage-reconnaissance group tried to gain a foothold in one of the houses on Respublikanskaya Street, directly adjacent to the state border, where they were blocked by units of the Russian army. The remnants of the group, who retreated to the territory of Ukraine, entered a minefield where they were destroyed," the statement said.
According to the ministry, control over the village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region has been completely restored. "Currently, control over the settlement has been completely restored, and the area where the sabotage and reconnaissance group was blocked has been cleared," the department said.
