Air defenses of Russia’s battlegroup Center shot down 22 Ukrainian drones in past day
Alexander Savchuk noted that the group’s units repelled eight counter-attacks of Ukrainian assault brigades on settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic
MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. Air defense units of Russia’s battlegroup Center shot down 22 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours, the group’s chief spokesman Alexander Savchuk has told TASS.
"Battlegroup Center continues to fulfill its combat tasks in the zone of the special military operation. <…> Air defense capabilities shot down 22 unmanned aerial vehicles," he said.
Savchuk added that the group’s units repelled eight counter-attacks of Ukrainian assault brigades on settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
In his words, the adversary lost up to 410 servicemen, three armored combat vehicles, including one Bradley infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), as well as one 122mm D-30 howitzer, one AN/TPQ-36 firefinder radar and nine automobiles.
