MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. The exact dates of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Turkey have not been set yet, they will be promptly coordinated through diplomatic channels, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"The visit has been prepared for a long time. We are also waiting for it to take place. This is a very important visit, we are looking forward to these Russian-Turkish contacts at the highest level," the spokesman said. "So far we don't have the exact dates, but they will be coordinated in a timely manner through diplomatic channels," Peskov added.
Speaking about the agenda of the upcoming talks, the Kremlin spokesman pointed out that "there are many topical issues to be discussed." "These are, first of all, our bilateral relations, our trade and economic relations. Many issues require the attention of the heads of state," Peskov pointed out. At the same time, according to the spokesman, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also discuss international and regional issues.
Earlier, Erdogan announced that he expected to receive Putin after the Turkish local elections scheduled for March 31.
